Caroline Shattan is Premier Family Law Group’s paralegal. She has been with the practice since the firm was established; before that, she worked closely with attorneys Kristina Cruz and David Zangrilli at their prior firm.
Caroline worked part-time in a law firm while studying psychology at Towson University, and became a full-time paralegal after graduation. After working at several law firms in various practice areas, she began working in family law in 2019.
Caroline loves being available to help clients who are facing one of the most challenging times of their lives, and is honored to offer them support and earn their trust. Providing clients with empathy, responsiveness, and efficiency in navigating the complex legal and personal issues that arise in family law are her strengths.
Caroline performs many of the legal tasks that do not call for a family law attorney’s training and experience, in addition to deftly managing the countless administrative duties that keep a law office running. Her support allows the firm to keep client costs lower and permits the attorneys to concentrate on the work that requires their expertise. Having worked with David and Kristina for years, Caroline is often able to anticipate their needs, helping cases move forward without delay.
Caroline grew up around horses, and when not working, she loves to ride. She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends and family, including her husband and two children.
